MENTORING
Do you crave photographic skills that will truly make you stand out in the "real world"?
Who do I recommend this to?
It’s extremely challenging to describe the current situation in the photography world (and in the world in general), but I’ll do my best to share my thoughts 😁 There’s a vast amount of material available on the internet today, but learning photography and its business aspect solely from videos and e-books isn’t entirely effective.
Of course, I started on YouTube and picked up countless things from there, but most of what I’ve learned has come from experience. It’s been over 12 years since I first picked up a camera, and my days were filled with photographing flowers, cats, and household items. Today, I’m building my own business in my own studio. Additionally, I work for Europe’s largest fishing equipment company and continuously improve everything around me.
I believe you’re currently facing two paths. One is to go it alone, discovering the profession through your own mistakes and decisions over many years. The other is to choose a mentor who can teach you from their decisions and possible mistakes (and of course, their experiences).
I’ve made mistakes too; I’m an entrepreneur and a real person. If I can help you save time and energy, it’s already worth it 😎 I want to provide you with knowledge that will help you succeed as a photographer in the "real world." Let’s be honest—it’s knowledge that can help you make money too.
What will the collaboration be about?
About something you already love!
01
Assessment and the basics
First, we'll have a brief conversation over the phone to assess where you are now and what you need. After that, we'll start with a basic 3-hour training session. From there, we can branch out into different specializations based on what you enjoy the most. I primarily conduct the training in person, as this allows us to look at practical examples together.
02
Experiences and tips
I aim to pass on everything I've discovered or learned over the years. Since photography is not just about taking photos, we'll also discuss client communication, social media, and technical background knowledge.
03
Post-production and evaluation
Photography is 50% about taking the photos and the other 50% about editing. Since I want to prepare you for the "real world," I'll also show you how to handle post-processing for various types of shoots. We’ll cover the necessary Lightroom and Photoshop skills to ensure you can hold your own in the industry (and maybe I’ll even gift you a few presets😁). This will involve evaluating your photos and providing honest feedback on how to fix any issues. I’m straightforward and don’t sugarcoat things because we always aim to get the best results!

Let's organize a photo session!
If you’d like to test or practice what you’ve learned in a real-life situation, we can arrange a photoshoot either in my studio or at an outdoor location. I’ll guide you through the entire process, from the photoshoot itself to the final delivery.
PRICES
1
Basic
We’ll start the training with a 3-hour session tailored just for you (experience transfer). I’ll cover the basics and the essentials you’ll need for the specific area. We’ll look at how to manage your social media, how to handle post-processing, your style, and more.
-
I’ll gift you a few presets to help you get started!
-
I’ll also provide 1 hour of free studio rental for you.
2
Extra hours
If you feel you need a bit more support beyond the initial boost, I’m happy to assist you with additional hours. We can photograph together, delve further into retouching, or focus on anything else you’d like.
3
Let's take photos together
It's time to put your acquired knowledge into practice! I’ll organize a photoshoot just for you, where I’ll take on the role of an assistant. I'll be there to help you with everything, show you the setups, and offer a few ideas. Consider this as an opportunity to expand your portfolio as well.
I can also provide training on the topic of filmmaking.
-
Do you hold these consultations online or in person?I prefer to hold the training sessions in person at my photo studio (1184 Budapest, Üllői út 288, 1st floor, 16). However, upon request, we can certainly do the consultation online as well.
-
When will there be opportunities for these individual training sessions? We can hold the training sessions on weekend mornings or on weekdays, at a pre-arranged time.
-
What types of photography do you teach?I've heard many times that a photographer MUST specialize in a specific area. I think this is incorrect and completely unjustified. If someone wants to make a living from photography and wants their work to be consistent, they need to understand all areas of it, and why shouldn't they? So, the answer to the question is that I can help in any field because I have worked in all of them more than once.
-
Can I apply even as a complete beginner?Of course! If you're just starting out with photography, we can begin from scratch. I'll do my best to give you the biggest possible head start!
-
How many people are in the mentor program?I like to keep my focus in one place, so initially, I’d say the program is for 1 person. However, if you have a friend you'd like to start this journey with, they're more than welcome to join! Gaining knowledge together is much more fun!
-
Besides the basic course, might I need additional sessions? This entirely depends on you. I’ll do my best to cover everything in the initial 3 hours, but if you still feel like you need more, I'll be happy to continue supporting you! 😁
-
Can I ask questions during the session? You can ask as many questions as you want, that's what individual training is all about. And what's really important, there are no bad questions, only the ones you don't ask. Even if you feel it's a silly question, just say it because there's a lot to learn from it! Feel free to ask 😁
-
Can I also come to you separately just as a 'silent partner' or only for a photoshoot?Yes, it's absolutely possible. Of course, I need to discuss it with the specific clients/guests beforehand, but if you'd like, you can be there and observe how I work.
